Born
in the shadows of Cardiff 1982,
Demented Are Go crawled out of the
underground with no rules and no
leash. An enigmatic beast stitched
together from rockabilly madness, punk
violence, Oi! street sweat and the
black heart of goth and metal.
Not a genre band—a collision.
Their crowd is a beautiful wreck:
- punks with broken boots,
- rockabillies with devil grins,
- goths
- metalheads
& outsiders of every stripe—
....all united by volume, sweat, and
danger.
Since 2013, the engine has been
ruthless and precise:
Sparky, Grischa, Holger, Gaybeul—
a lineup built to hit hard and never
apologize.
At the center stands Sparky, iconic
frontman, a raspy, savage voice that
sounds like it’s been dragged through
glass and fire.
He doesn’t just sing—he possesses the
stage.
Unhinged, magnetic, terrifying, alive.
Every show feels like it could fall
apart at any second—and that’s exactly
why it works.
In 2025, they struck again with
Psychotic Mutilation, released on
Sunny Bastard Records. An album that
bleeds insanity, raw riffs, twisted
rhythms and that unmistakable Demented
Are Go venom.
No polish. No mercy. Just pure,
psychotic rock ’n’ roll.
This is music for the damned, for the
ones who don’t fit, for nights that
end too late and hearts that beat too
fast.
Demented Are Go aren’t chasing trends.
They’re still howling, still
dangerous, still dragging rock ’n’
roll through the gutter—right where it
belongs.
